Kyle in the Grass

Backpacking

Kyle alternated between crying and sleeping in the backpack. Not sure it was a huge success.

Feet

After weeks of trying, Kyle managed to get his feet into his mouth. You'd think this would be easy given the size of said feet, but his even bigger belly proved to be a pretty tough obstacle to overcome.





That same evening, we realized that Kyle can hold himself standing. A bit scary...

Kyle was really happy to meet Rosie and Mike during lunch at CPK.

Richard and Maribeth had us over for brunch at their new place a few weeks ago. Kyle took advantage of a quiet moment to give Phoebe some brotherly advice.




We're not sure what he was telling her, but he definitely looked guilty when he noticed that we were watching.



During brunch with the Masons and Luke and Sarah, Kyle showed off by eating some banana. He subsequently felt bad for Phoebe (who is still a little while away from solid foods), so decided to offer her some fingers to snack on.

Kyle helped Corinne to celebrate her birthday, mainly by reminding her just how old 31 is...

Pacifier

We're actively trying to encourage Kyle to master the trick of putting his pacifier into his mouth by himself. This is tough because he really likes the small pacifier that is tough to grip. Here he is with the larger pacifier which is less unwieldly.

Go Habs Go!

Guillaume was sure that Kyle's support was the key to the Habs beating the Sharks on Feburary 28.

SciDAC Junior

Johan, Britton and I had a special SciDAC meeting at our house. With the pressure of generating more results from our simulations soon, we decided to recruit a few extra pairs of hands: Kyle and his two friends Andy and Will, who were all born within a month and a half of each other. The babies seemed to be more interested in playing with each other than in actually working. Hopefully they'll be able to present their results at our next meeting.
