Make Belief

Kyle loves to play pretend these days, especially with the kitchen that Grandma and Grandpa sent him, and the shopping cart that we picked up to go with up.

Vegetable Soup

Another class email from Kyle's daycare - the class has been working on learning the alphabet, and last Thursday this was done with vegetable soup...

No clothes

Kyle has recently taken to taking his clothes off. Mostly cute at home, but a pain in the butt for his daycare teachers. On a recent day, the kids went for a walk, and it was warm out, so the teachers told them they could take their jackets off. Next thing anyone knew, Kyle had stripped down completely, even managing to wriggle his way out of his diaper! Then his classmates started emulating him...

Pizza Party

Kyle's class had a pizze party at daycare earlier this month. Thanks to the teachers for sending us thes pictures.

Easy One Catcher

Eating

Kyle begged me for my chopsticks the other day, and when I gave one to him, he managed to eat his tortellini with it.

Other scenes from the dining room:

So excited about breakfast! (I love how he says "yeah OK" toward the start).

Driving in the Car

A few weeks ago, I posted about Kyle driving in the car at the end of the day after daycare. Here are some more pictures and movies of him in the car.

Sorry these movies are so dark:

Pretending to open the gate at daycare with the access card.

Pretending to play the radio:

Endless Summer 2

Kyle's favorite movie is The Endless Summer 2. He watches it for 5-10 minutes when he needs to calm down.

Kyle particularly enjoys one 30-second scene where Pat and Wingnut (the stars of the movie) are dancing in Costa Rica.

Skateboarder

Eric found his old skateboard the other day.

Kyle's been working on facial expressions, still not so good at "smiling".

Superman

When he's not busy fighting crime, Superman gets to play with his toys.

One of Kyle's favorite games is making the cars stop at the traffic light.

Pumpkin Carving

Sarah and Erin came over to help Kyle carve pumpkins. We adults were a lot more excited about it than Kyle... maybe next year.

Halloween Parade

The parents were invited to join the kids for a Halloween Parade at daycare.
