Seven two-year-olds, four older brothers, and of course their adults celebrated Shane's birthday over some barbecue and cake. Surprisingly, it wasn't a disaster…

Skiing - March 2013

Yes, I'm back to blogging! Trying to go through a large backlog of photos, so some highlights will be coming over the next little while...

We took advantage of a lovely day in March to ski at Mt. Holly. It wasn't the Swiss Alps, but it was an easy drive and wonderful for beginners.



Kyle adored skiing and did a great job!




Shane was pretty hesitant on skis, but got in a good nap facedown on the sled.

Mother's Day and a Johnsen Family Bike Caravan

It was a very special Mother's Day. In addition to a surprise brunch, lots of flowers, and art from the boys, I got the present I had asked for-- haircuts for the boys:
